Really depends on the games you want to play and your expectations of the quality you will be playing them at.
There’s people here who swear by docked mode, my own experience has been a bit more hit and miss.
Older games run great at 1080p on my TV, but anything fairly recent will either not run well or look terrible.
If it’s an upgrade over your existing PC then, by all means, but if the primary use case is to play games stationary hooked up to a TV then an Xbox, even a Series S, or a PlayStation might be a better investment.
