Months prior to this occurence, I bought some brand new RAM (bigger capacity, same frequency) and plugged it in, no RAM related problems until today.

Weeks later, there were green/pinkish line at the bottom of the screen, doesn’t annoy me so I ignored it. Few weeks after that it frequently does BSOD with the code “VIDEO MEMORY MANAGEMENT INTERNAL” so I updated the graphics drivers and BSOD problem isn’t appearing anymore. Then weeks after that the small line started increasing in width but still I chose to ignore it.

Weeks after that, whilst just typing some stuff, the whole screen suddenly turned green. It’s still functional though, I can still use it and play games on it, but the green screen is painful to the eyes. Tried cleaning the insides of the laptop, still didn’t change anything.

One thing I just noticed after the screen turned green, it takes longer to boot up than before. So I am seeking help to you all, narrowing down the problem to determine the cause so I can fix it myself.

My guess is that the screen might’ve gotten messed up getting cranped up inside the laptop bag as I carry it around.

Looks like there are definitely issues with the display, that being said it can always be two things. Plug it into a tv or external display and see if it exhibits the problems outlined.

I’ve plugged it on an external monitor using HDMI and the colors are just fine, so that also helped me determine that maybe the GPU isn’t damaged
