Download videos, download audio, have no ads, listen to audio with the screen locked.
I love Newpipe!
Yeah and the devs are fast AF. When Google intentionally changes YouTube API in order to break third party apps it gets fixed in hours.

+1 for NewPipe. Though if you view youtube on a browser with an adblocker (e.g. Brave, Firefox with uBlock Origin) you can still skip all the ads
