Wonder how do people feel about BMWs quality, reliability over the past 3-5 years?
I have owned 9 bmws over the years, and lots of repairs both diy and indy and dealer but one thing holds true and constant. I have never had to be towed on the side of the road. These cars have so many sensors they will tell you they are getting ready to fail before the car breaks down on the side of the road. To me, that is realiability at its best.
What was the oldest one you had?
My 2019 330i and 2016 340i both have had bad fuel tank breather valves (common issue). Besides that, I’ve had no other issues. This issue was covered under warranty in both instances.
Good. The B series engines have been much more reliable than the previous N series engines.
Cooling systems and evaporators are weak. Everything else is solid
i really want to buy one but ive seen like 4 being carried away on flatbeds in the last week. makes me slightly hesitant.
We have them picked up to be fueled. It’s the reality of not wanting to mingle with the common element out there.
👎🏻 at this point however, I am in an abusive relationship and will get driving them. I almost pulled the trigger and bought a 7 series over the weekend.
The engine and chassis are every bit as reliable as the factory limiter that happens way before the vehicle is pushed to failure. These machines are engineered to level up their composer at speed. Break the threshold and things are so buttoned down you enter a state of consciousness that’s removes shit you don’t need messing with with your head space.
The level of performance I’m able to extract with assured confidence, mostly, blows my mind.
Owned 3 different BMWs over the past 8 years. No issues with any of the cars
this is different than owning 1 BMW for the past 8 years
