So I just a few days ago I got my hands on G20 330i. The car is just perfect all around.

However, I am a little surprised by its fuel consumption (in a bad way). I am using my G20 as my daily and thats mostly urban drive. The so called problem is that I can not average more than 18 mpg. My driving is normal so to say. I refuse to drive it in ECO mode the entire time but I rarely drive in sport mode considering there is always some traffic in my city.

Is anyone having a similar experience?

edit: I am aware the headder says “300i” and thats wrong. I am new here, sorry!

Do you do many short trips? That is one of the main reasons for high fuel consumption because a cold engine runs very rich. City driving is also way less efficient than highway driving

Not really. I just get caught in traffic quite often and that is it. I also failed to mention that I also drive in the hills often.

Hmm that’s very weird my avg is 25mpg on my 330i (2020) I do mostly city short trips 5-10 miles.
