Honestly… nah. It’s still great. I have both. I’m going on a trip tomorrow and taking the LCD.
Out of curiosity why would you take the LCD as opposed to the OLED?
If I were in the same boat and had both models, I’d do the same, but that is because I don’t want to risk losing the new model or accidentally destroying it while out on travel!
Also spare parts are currently unavailable for the OLED deck, at least last time I checked, so I guess repairing accidental damage is easier on the LCD deck!
Smaller?
The bezels of the lcd model have always looked ridiculous to me.
Honestly, that was the main reason I passed on the Steam Deck since launch. When I saw the OLED model, I knew it was time.
That looks cool. Now all it needs is the shell to be resized to be appropriate for that screen size. :v
You’re just making the fact that I have the lcd model eat me up even more
Felt the same with the Switch and Switch OLED lol
Some games are still stuck on 1280 by 720. Any way to force them to 800?
Better that I just not know
The success of the steam deck is in big part due to the 400$ entry price, to get that low some compromises needed to be made, don’t shoot the messenger.
