What’s your go-to game to “grind” on the Steam Deck? With the portability I imagine a lot of the community takes advantage of grinding levels/resources/materials/unlockables on games while away from their gaming setup.eam Deck allows me to chill in bed, on the couch, or away from my desk in general and still game.

Any suggestions?

Have a nice death! The game is quite tough, so whenever I can a grind a-bit to try to get a bit further.

-Modded minecraft, probably the most amazing game ever created, and then perfected by mods. Needs a proper control scheme in steam to play on the deck. Playable through prism launcher on the discover app repository.

-Stardew Valley, a really good farming simulator/rouge lite, also one of the best games ever made. Great on the deck.

-Modded fallout 4 is probably the funnest action RPG I have ever played. The base game is pretty decent. Plays great on the deck.

-Nova Aetus mod for mount and blade warband. One of my favorite games of all time, with this amazing mod. Too much to explain. Needs a proper control scheme on deck, or a mouse and keyboard.

-Rimworld, dark colony sim meets tower defense and hardcore futuristic scifi world building that is great. A bit cumbersome on the deck because of the mouse heavy interface.

-Borderlands 2, a great little grindy shoot and loot. Fun co-op game. Great on deck.

For minecraft modpacks, i recommend the 1.7.10 pack on technic, for 1.7 and ATM 8 from curseforge for 1.9.

Fallout 4. I do missions and combat on my pc then use the SD to craft, manage settlements, and work on power armor mods.
