I just purchased the 8bitdo ultimate Bluetooth controller, mainly to use with my Steam Deck when it’s docked and connected to a monitor/TV. I play allot of Overwatch 2, so I was eager to hop into quick play to try the controller out. But I noticed that there seems to be a slight delay when pressing buttons and moving the analog sticks (Regardless of wether it’s connected via Bluetooth, or 2.4 wireless adapter). I don’t experience this issue with the Steam Deck’s hardware, and not have I ever experienced anything like this with my old Xbox elite controller… I was excited to pick up this controller because it uses the hall effect sensors, which I thought would be ideal for someone like me that doesn’t really have the spare change to spend on new controllers every time stick drift occurs. But the delay makes it very risky for me to hop into competitive matches. Oddly enough, I don’t really see a delay when playing Street Fighter 6 with this controller… is anyone else experiencing this? And if so, is there a fix? I really like the feel of the controller, and I would prefer to keep it if there is a fix. Otherwise, I will have to return it.

Yes, really bad lag via Bluetooth with this controller. No lag via Dualsense or Xbox though.
