So I‘m currently paying 4,99€ for Spotify (university discount). I got an offer to pay 5,99€ for Apple Music + Apple TV+, which is obviously a really good deal that I‘ll probably just take tomorrow. Basically 1€ for Apple TV+. Music is more important to me tho so I wanted to ask wether I would lose anything remarkable right now that Spotify has but Apple doesn‘t? Afaik Apple Music even has better audio quality. What are your experiences?
I use Apple Music too because it’s a little cheaper than Spotify. Although Spotify has a better algorithm to recommend you songs based on what you’re listening to, I’ve observed that Apple Music has also improved a lot in this domain since the past 1-2 years. Spotify also, annoyingly keeps suggesting me songs that I don’t listen to but are popular in my country. Somehow, their algorithm still hasn’t been able to learn my listening habbits.
Also, if you have an iPhone and Apple’s Airpods, Spatial Audio works great. Dolby Audio on Apple Music is also noteworthy on any pair of earphones/headphones.
And of course their Apple Music, Apple Music Classic, iCloud 50GB storage and Apple TV+ package is a good deal in my country. At 199₹ per month, which is roughly a little more than 2 Euros per month, the package is good. Apple Music and Apple Music Classic costs ₹99 per month, which is a little over 1 Euro per month while Spotify costs ₹119 per month here.
