Hi, lovely people! I have around 600+ hours on BG3, so yes, I am definitely enjoying it a lot. However, I’m trying to think of what to play next. A few people have recommended Cyberpunk to me, so I did get that, and it runs well. Nooot sure how I like it just yet. Are there any other, like, RPG games, that have character customization, that also run well on the deck?
Thank you in advance! Apologies if this isn’t the right sub to post this on, I haven’t been on Reddit in a hot minute.
Rimworld is pretty fun on the Deck
Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Less good graphics and voice acting than BG3 but more accurate D&D 5e rules and still great. From a very small developer who have done a great job.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister
It looks so good?!?! I’m stoked. Definitely getting this.
Does BG3 run any smoother then it did a couple months ago?
I basically bought my Deck to be able to play it on the go, and was extremely disappointed that the only way to get it to work properly was to stare at blurry blobs for the entire game.
Yeah - they released update 4 this month which added FSR.
Keep playing cyberpunk it gets WAAY better after Act 1.
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 Dragon Age Origins Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2… Solasta…
A lot of them
Dragon Age Origins
Does it run well on deck? I tried to get it working and couldn’t figure it out, apart from getting an external mouse/keyboard
pathfinder: wrath of the righteous
pillars of eternity
Tyranny
Divinity Original Sin
Wasteland 3
Midnight Suns is pretty great and I played a huge chunk of it on deck.
Ooh and it has character customization?! 👀
Yep! It’s just a great game overall
Divinity orginal sin 1 and 2 Baldurs gate 1 and 2 Icewinddale Torment Solasta crwon of magister Never winter nights
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
It will steal your time. It is hard. It has many options which makes it a much more complex system and game than BG3. But it is very rewarding
Gamedec?
The new Shadowrun games are excellent! VERY low-power CRPGs with a nice aesthetic.
Fallout 1 and 2 are good bets, too. They’re old enough that you pretty much have to just rely on your touchpads, but if you don’t mind that they’re fantastic CRPGs that run shockingly well on the Deck. For that matter, Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4 all run really well.
Shadowrun
Shadowrun looks like my exact cup of tea. I got Fallout 4 a while back but didn’t progress much. Need to try it again.
Disco Elysium, divinity original sin 2, wasteland 3
Divinity 2 is the most ‘Like Baldur’s Gate’ game I’ve ever seen.
