pretty much the title, if Madrid isn’t in for him anymore, who could afford him?, and where could he be the most successful?

He has the potential to be one of the greatest but I don’t see that happening at psg, as he won’t really be taken seriously until he plays in an actually competitive league

I don’t see him playing for Man City, Madrid seems fed up with his transfer antics, so where to?

The love of my life River Plate will strike a deal with PSG and give them Claudio Echeverri plus half of what Mbappe is worth and he’ll tear it up in South America, watch.

I want to see him go to one of City’s rivals. Recreate the old laliga days of the two current greats on rival teams.

My honest opinion; he should go to realmadrid , we all know he’s gonna perform great for them. Joselu at the moment is not a good fit.

As an Arsenal fan, I’m so down for him to come here. Heard we have €100m budget for a striker and we can pay him 90m in wages so I’d much rather do that than 90m+pages for oshimen

Funnily enough, he would fit the best in Barca’s squad. They literally have no left winger. Could never happen financially, but would be the perfect fit

That Jude/mbappe rivalry would fucking revive la liga from it’s slow death. Even though I’m a Madrid fan, we need a joker to our batman. Barca ain’t got shit. Don’t get me wrong, Barca’s current situation is fucking hilarious and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. But in real terms, the fact that one of the biggest spanish teams is struggling this badly is negative for the league as a whole.

Anyway, Mbappe could unironically go to newcastle, chelsea or destroy his career at united.

Don’t matter. If you actually watched the matches, Barca is a shell of their former self. Lots of messy wins, overcomplicating the final pass, unreliable attack, passing TOO much in the box, etc. Without the 2 Joao’s on loan, I’m not sure where we would be this season. We really need a second striker who can compete with Lewa for a spot in the first XI, also since Lewa is getting old. Ferran isn’t convincing enough, Raphinha can be decent, but he rarely actually finishes his chances, Yamal is still developing and shouldn’t be relied on as of now. Need someone other than Lewa who can reliably put the ball in the back of the net

No one. He priced himself out of the normal football market.

Plus he is a precarious investment, his brand name isn’t worth nearly as much as some other top class players, and he is unlikely to be able to yield to any manager’s authority.

He should either stick with PSG or move to Saudi Arabia. Perhaps joining the MLS would be a good move for him.

Say what you will, but European football simply doesn’t need him. Any club with ambitions to win the CL can comfortably do it without him - and literally any other player on the planet woule be a better investment than Mbappe.

Whose brand name is worth more than Mbappe in todays football? He never had a problem with a manager or a scandal all is just rumours the guy barely has shown a glimse of a personality

I dunno, Messi, Ronaldo, Haaland, Salah, Kane, Bellingham? Probably a few dozen more.

Mbappe is a good player, and one of the very few who played in two World Cup finals at just 23 years of age.

But the way he handled Real Madrid’s interest a while back when it turned out that he just wanted a better contract with PSG was abysmal.

And there are plenty of YouTube videos showing him get annoyed when the entire team or their attacking plan isn’t about him.

He is paid obscene amounts of money and gets ridiculous bonuses, and also has contract clauses allowing him a say in club transfers. But all he ever wins are Ligue 1 titles.

He is incredibly talented but also incredibly rich and incredibly spoiled, which makes him incredibly expensive for any club. So expensive that the price and the trouble just can’t justify whatever he brings on the pitch.

Mbappe played in one Champions League final - and he lost it.

Mbappe is playing in a league which is currently ranked 5th in Europe, barely above the Dutch league.

And the only reason anyone has ever heard of him were two World Cups where he played for France.

Mbappe is only 24 - but Haaland is 23 and he already has one Champions League title and one title in the strongest league in Europe - where he was also top goalscorer, with more goals than Mbappe in France.

Where he should go and where he will go are interesting questions. In truth only a handful of clubs can actually afford those wages, probably any Saudi club, Madrid, Chelsea, City, maybe Bayern. Now if Bayern hadn’t just bought Kane I’d say that would have been the right move for Mbappe… City aren’t letting Haaland leave anytime soon, Madrid’s out and surely he’s too young and ambitious for the Saudi move just yet.

So we get into scenarios of clubs who wouldn’t normally be able to afford him, but might if other things happen. If Liverpool sell Salah to Saudi in the summer for upwards of £150m, which is very likely, then I think there’s a chance ( a small chance) that they bid for Mbappe and he comes because of Klopp and it’s Liverpool after all. If Madrid or Barca go for Saka for a similar fee, then maybe there’s a chance he goes to Arsenal, because , well, London and a chance at the title if he’s there

Although I don’t think any of the above are likely, for me he signs a new deal at PSG and complains about it constantly, slowly becoming a billionaire, until he goes to Saudi and becomes the richest footballer in history.

Klopp couldn’t handle him. Why would he take three steps backwards in his career by joining the awful EPL? It’s Real or stay at PSG.

Interesting you think Klopp isn’t an elite manager, most fans and pundits do. If you look at his record he’s up there with the best of them. As to suggesting the French league is anywhere near the quality of the EPL, all I can say is you can’t watch a lot of both leagues, because psg wouldn’t be guaranteed top 4 in EPL and the other good teams wouldn’t be near the top 6. Spain is a league of 3-4 excellent teams and a lot of very average ones. I get the sense you don’t watch a lot of EPL, you should, the lowest team can beat the best team and quite often do. It’s probably the best league in the world. Mbappe would be tested here.

Klopp’s record suggests he is indeed an elite manager … I consider him overrated… one EPL title … he reaches finals but more often than not loses them. He’s a perennial runner up … a bridesmaid. But that’s a personal view.
