Ran into a corporate ex of Toyota who oversees the LC and he said their goal with this new generation is that it will be a vehicle that will have a 25 yr life span with repairs being made only by hand tools. They want this to truly go back to their roots and be a vehicle that is once again used in safaris, deserts and other areas where shops are not readily available.

In other words the next generation Land Cruiser will be due by the early 2030s. The 2025 model will continue to be sold in other markets.
