My Mazda 3 sedan’s battery is dead. I tried to charge it using jumper cables but the engine won’t start. I think the battery needs replacement.
Now, the vehicle is still under warranty but how do I get the battery replaced? I can’t even take the car to the service center. Does Mazda provide some sort of assistance in this case?
Ya it’s still under its own warranty. It’s easy to remove from the vehicle. The stock Panasonic batteries are pretty weak. I’d just go aftermarket if you can afford it like AGM (group 35) from Costco.
Do yourself a favor and get a battery from Walmart or something. Mazda batteries are terrible.
Use your included Mazda Roadside Assistance to get towed to a shop or dealer. The Mazda3’s battery dying without adequate warning on the dashboard to replace it ahead of time is its main flaw. Very common problem. Been there myself.
I bought and installed a new battery, as well as an exhaust and nice wheels/ tires right away.
Do you keep the car documents(registration etc) in the car when it is towed or with yourself? First experience of mine, I apologize I have no idea about towing
