I hear a lot about the various EVs on the market and their drivetrain/software/ride quality but I rarely hear about the quality of service that comes post-purchase. Perhaps because it’s not an exciting topic.
Which brand would y’all say has the best or worst reputation in the regard? How would you say Chevy compares to Tesla or Hyundai?
This is going to be a “it depends” answer. Based on your location and dealerships (or dealership equivalent) in your area. Lots of Tesla’s and Tesla service centers in California - great experience (at least that’s my experience). In North Dakota? ROFL no.
As for the traditional manufacturers specifically, the higher-end the brand, the more likely you are to have a better service experience. Rolls Royce, BMW, Audi, Porche. But even then it’ll still depend on your local dealer. Just because you spent a lot on a car doesn’t mean the dealers aren’t useless snobs.
