I’m curious - why do you pick Samsung compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, iPhone, OnePlus, etc.)

(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)

Personally for me, Samsung has the highest level of customization. Also Bixby routines are crazy good. I’ve tried all 3 of the big players in the US, both Pixel and iOS may be more polished but way too restrictive. I also just generally prefer Galaxy’s aesthetic over Pixel.

I’m old enough to where Samsung was really the only decent alternative to Apple and Apple is too controlling for my taste. That being said I’ve tried HTC and LG and they never seemed there technology wise. LG towards the end tried to be too gimmicky which basically means their phone isn’t very good.

Better sofware. My old Redmi’s numerous bugs were driving me crazy.

While I prefer stock Android, the Pixel phones have too many issues that $1,000 phones should not have. I’m not going to buy a Chinese phone, so that leaves me with the Galaxy devices. Quality build, great ui, and regular software updates make these the phones to beat in the Android sphere.

    • One UI
    • Affordable and good (A series)
    • It has everything i need, more or less.
    • The recent years phone design is amazing.
    • Being an Android (i can install APK of my own)
    • Not a fan of Xiaomi / Redmi
    • Never tried LG / Pixel to say anything about them.

First of all probably the most simple reason is I prefer their look (like with the cameras and bezels), then it’s probably their adaptive battery’s and their reliability and then the ui in my opinion is way cleaner and nicer. (And it has a more open minded community and a better ecosystem).
