    I’d go LCD.

    I base this on:

    • being an older gamer and looking back, I find myself realising always being satisfied not getting the ultimate version of anything vs getting the best version. Every time.
    • I look back on some stuff my parents got me (I was a spoiled child) and realised:
    1. I often didn’t deserve it (I wasn’t bad kid but I was average at best)
    2. My parents wanted to make me happy and I wasted their money and feel bad about that now: I realised this very late in life. But truth is the mid to lower version of whatever I got would have been exactly the same awesome to get.
    3. Being this young, don’t get ultimate version… sh*t is gonna happen and when it happens it’s gonna suck a little less when it’s not the most expensive version breaking.

My two cents. U know what u want, but can u make an informed and honest decision?

    Good luck OP

As a launch owner, I can tell you that the Steam Deck is absolutely worth it and I say that as someone with an i9 and a 6950XT in his desktop.

Love to play games while traveling, in bed or on the couch? You will like it.

Love PC gaming? You will like it.

Love Steam? You will like it.

Love tinkering with Linux and OSes in general? You will like it.

This is just a few of the points to like about the Steam Deck, there are many more.

If you have a chance to get it, please do. You will not regret it!
