So while car was at the garage for a tire replacement and alignment, they called and said one of the back breaks were done and needed replacement. I said sure, it’s already there.
When I picked up my car my handbrake light is now constantly on, even when brake is disengaged. What up with that? They said not to worry about it, that the break is not on. But having a red light in my dash at all times is not something I want.
Any advice on how to move forward with this?
Check that there’s brake fluid in the reservoir. Or much better have the shop inspect their work. Seems like they forgot something.
Them telling not to worry about this seems wrong. Either I’m misunderstanding something, or you misunderstood, or it’s a bad shop.
