In the past I’ve always tried browsing forums to try to find out an options list. In the past few years though I’ve found that it is harder and harder to find these. Searching forum posts from 10+ years ago is difficult especially with the limited search tools that are often provided.
Sometimes I try to find old news articles from when a car was announced, but they generally aren’t’ complete options list, and it’s even harder to find mid generation options that were added later.
So my question is what is the best resource you have found to get options lists? Or if you have any tips for searching forums.
Thanks!
Coincidentally, I’ve been looking for something like this site to figure out which trims got adaptive cruise in that sweet ass a3 etron you got
I’m going to say the manufacture’s vehicle brochure. Many are online.
Search up the brochure for your vehicle. For example: “2013 Lexus GS brochure.”
Google?
Vinanalytics will tell you the build spec of a Porsche based on VIN and they’ve since added BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce to their decoder.
I was able to find a entire vehicle breakdown booklet of my 1987 Cressida for a guy selling them on ebay. It’s really well put together with pics and paragraphs of engine, suspension, features interior. It’s fantastic honestly and I have it on display in my house lol
