So i was considering to get an Apple TV, but i’m trying to find online if Netflix considers the Apple TV as a TV device or just a normal device. This would mean I’d have to pay extra for the TV for netflix because I’m sharing the account (already paying my part, don’t @ me for leeching pls)

The Apple TV is considered a TV device just like every other non-mobile player. However, the household feature is not enforced on that platform (yet) because Netflix hasn’t updated the app to include many features that are on other platforms. I assume one day they will. They had a job posting for a tvOS programmer. Who knows how long it will be if at all.

If it’s in the same house then most ISP assign you one public IP addy so they would all come from the same IP and not be seen as separate devices.

to stream in another tv, you’d need to pay for extra for netflix. I was just wondering if in Apple TV (the box), whether i’d have to pay extra for the Netflix
