With the newest update reverting anyone who changed their bios, is it worth going back to 4gb of vram or has the newest updates in 3.5 made the gains too small?
The gains of more UMA frame buffer have always been extremely game dependent unless you’re running Windows. I’ve never felt them particularly worthwhile, so I don’t bother with setting the frame buffer above default.
I’m getting a bug in Skyrim when I reach max VRAM, game halts to 1fps unless I look straight down. Changing to 4gb fixed this issue… after the 3.5 update, I tested before switching back to 4gb and the bug appeared… so I switched it back to 4gb.
But deathblade will come and tell you you’re imagining it. And that, for anyone who’s asking, is why he gets downvoted to hell everytime he comments.
comments like this are a prime example of “hey guys look and me come on agree with me come on he is wrong because I brought up his name come on look at me” its really low brow and further exposes how little you actually know about the subject.
