Just loaded 3.5.5 Stable Patch and can easily find the setting to enable HDR output in Gaming Mode for my display, but for the life of me when I switch to Desktop mode, can’t find any sort of setting to enable - anybody else having this problem?

While in Desktop Mode, try opening the Steam app then enable Big Picture mode. You’ll have a UI similar to gaming mode, and it may have the item you’re looking for.
