I think I’m in the right place…

I’m building a mini-proxmox box and it’s hard to find reasonably priced mini-itx boards with a lot of SATA connectors. Xeons are out due to cost and for some reason a huge lag in production (No, I don’t want a D-1521, thank you…)

I’m thinking I want to use the miniforums mini-itx board, and then put something like this in it, rather than go buy a super expensive Supermicro or ASRockRack.

To the best of my understanding these are just “dumb” connectors and there’s not really anything to break or be incompatible, but I am just winging it. Any advice is appreciated.
