Referees shouldn’t be known. We shouldn’t know their names. They should be nameless automatons that are effectively interchangeable.

Instead when a certain referee is going to be in charge of our games we all collectively sigh.

Referees can’t be such a huge part of the premier league. Their egos are out of control. They can’t deal with it.
