Of course it makes a different sound, your deck is stereo.
Jokes aside, just stress test the button playing some games. If it registers properly, try to see if it wears in and normalize the noise feedback.
If you open a ticket expect slightly longer response times, at least until the OLED release crash waves just calm down.
Yes this was a good timing for the price of the refurbished (I got it for $360), really bad timing for the support
