hello, i’ve just installed and enabled the official steam os 3.5.5. now my steam deck doesn’t detect the sd card. ive tried remounting and still nothing. i tried going to desktop and mounting the card manually then going back to gaming mode, it now detects the sd card. but restarting the steam deck will make it wont detect the sd card again. tried formatting the sd card but the problem still persist. i need help, thank you!

Had similar issue, but was simply downvoted. I used KDE Partition Manager and set the mount point to /run/media/deck/. Then at the top, choose the option to read by Label (or something like that). Other option is to open Dolphin as root (open terminal, login as root with su, then type dolphin), and make a folder in /run/media/ that’s the same name as your microSD card. Then set THAT as the mount point.

i found the culprit, it’s the automount that ive installed that let me install with other game launchers to the sd card. but there are still other problems like steam games wont launch if installed in the sd card. i tried restoring to factory settings and it fixed everything. ill wait till people update things like cryoutilities to be compatible with the latest os update.
