Let’s be clear, this is not a bad list to be at the bottom of… and someone has to be there, by virtue of the question asked! They are all tremendous players, and it’s amazing to think how great Wenger was at unearthing and signing artful midfielders like this!

Players like this are why so many of us support this club. I miss when football was played in such a way that you could legitimately line-up with a midfield 5 like this! Systems are much more defensive and possession-oriented now, and creative freedom is stifled a bit. As much as I’m proud of the team we have now, I’d love for Arteta to put the ‘Art’ back in the football.
