It’s neat. The designers were wise to put this in the interior lining, it would be gaudy on the outside.

It’s mildly annoying that I can’t buy it for the arbitrary reason of being outside the US or Canada. The limited edition is the only one that would tempt me to upgrade from my 512gb LCD. IMO, the regular OLEDs look kind of boring.

It helped sway me towards the all-black OLED model.

Kind of lame that the 512 GB OLED doesn’t include the dual carrying case. It’s still a premium product that costs $600 after tax and they couldn’t throw in the dual case?

I think the detachable case comes with even 512 GB?

Looks great. I don’t even want the deck itself. I just want the case. I wish more cases with customs liners were available from third parties.

I wish it had the normal black liner. The orange zippers are nice but not the whole design.

There is a bit going on there and while I’ll admit they didn’t quite knock that portion out of the park, it’s not too bad. I hope to spend more time looking at the screen than inside the case so it’s all just whatever imo.

Will iFixit carry the case inner liner?

It was actually part of the reason I got the non special edition OLED 1tb instead.

I wasn’t planning on upgrading to OLED, but would love to buy this case separately.
