Hi there! Im coming from England to watch Magdeburg vs Kaiserslautern on the 2nd December. I fly into Leipzig and arrive at 09.00, and I leave the next day at 14.00. I know thats not a lot of time, but I would love to try and get to another game (any division) during the weekend if anyone has any suggestions? At the moment I’m looking at going to babelsberg vs Zwickau before going to Magdeburg, unless someone else has a better option? Thanks!
If Wolfsburg was playing a home game that day, that would have been the closest possible Bundesliga stadium, but they are playing in Bochum. Everything else is probably too far away to be sure to make it in time.
As someone else suggested Braunschweig-Fürth would be a viable 2. Bundesliga match. Starts at 1:30 pm and is pretty close to Magdeburg. Probably the least stressful option at the highest possible level. Getting from Leipzig to Braunschweig in time could become an issue if your flight is delayed, though.
