Rep. Jamie Raskin described the incident as "the most recent in a string of increasingly flagrant abuses of power by the Trump Administration to deter congressional oversight and intimidate Members of Congress."
No, the conspiracy theory in 2016 and 2020 was that extra people were voting, in particular dead people and people who weren’t eligible. Specifically, Republicans were claiming that Democrats were making fraudulent votes. I’m saying that Republicans took control of vote counting and didn’t count Democrat votes.
Furthermore there is a growing body of evidence showing that this has happened. Specifically, sworn affidavits from people claiming they voted one way, which exceed the number of votes that were recorded for that candidate. Furthermore, statistical analysis shows that it is virtually impossible for so many people to have voted for Trump at the top of the ballot but the Democrat line the rest of the way down (the US election isn’t just about the president, they lump in Congress, Senate, a bunch of judges, police, and even state law amendments into one multi-page ballot).
So please, with all due respect, fuck off with your mindless hyperbole.
Democrats keep doing this stuff and writing statements against shit, but there’s really no meaningful change or action… Im going crazy :?(
There was a definite trend of change happening 2021-2025 but then the majority of voters wanted Trump back in again.
1st, you mean 2020 to 2024?
2nd, dems version of change was status quo. Curious what you think they improved?
Well in 2020 you couldn’t buy toilet paper or hang out in groups.
Maybe use better example than how badly dems also handled covid.
By just doing what trump did once the vaccine was out, ignore it then dismiss anything positive that came out of it.
As enlightening as this conversation is I don’t think we live in the same reality.
It’s fun seeing how little people actually say changed for the better when asked
I gave you some examples you moved the goalposts and I realized this conversation wasn’t going anywhere.
Yes pointing out your argument didn’t work is moving the goalposts
No, you chronically live in American liberal fantasy land.
The majority of votes that were counted…
It amazes me how people bought the story that turnout was low, when most polling locations were heaving.
Yeah I heard this conspiracy theory in 2016 and 2020.
