The Federal Communications Commission is implementing new rules banning internet providers from discrimination in how they provide service to communities based on income level, race and other protected classes
While I heard about this coming to a vote a few days ago, the FCC has voted in favor for the rules today.
The only loss is they should have clawed back the money the ISPs stole in the 00’s, but I’m still happy with this outcome.
