After a recent drop of my deck (I know), my right trigger (R2) stopped working. Upon taking it apart I noticed the issue is the magnet on the trigger (that comes closer into contact with the sensor as you press) was dislodged. Problem is, I can’t find it. I’ll replace the button but my question is: is it dangerous to potentially have that small magnetic piece somewhere in my deck?

the magnet is not an issue, it’s too weak to affect anything and generally modern electronics aren’t that susceptible to them. But it IS conductive, you do not want that magnet bridging connections internally.

Any safety concerns for the magnet bridging connections? I haven’t taken everything apart but just opening it I can’t find the magnet and no rattling piece in the system that I can hear.
