Now the dust settle a bit, can I say I feel like a dude who pay more for less just to get it one year before? Like you know, a beta payer?

I mean for real, everything is better and they even add more memory and a better battery for the same price than the most pricey steam deck

I’m not against refresh, absolutely not but I still feel scummy they announce a refresh one week before its release and I feel even worse for the people who buy it like a month ago (like my brother)

It’s a dick move and I really feel I pay just to get access to a beta

I bought an expensive gaming PC with a 3090ti a month before the 40 series came out. It’s just the way it goes fam, welcome to technology.

You had the Deck for ONE YEAR, enjoyed playing games on it for all that time, which btw you still can keep doing with it, and somehow you feel betrayed because the company released a minor upgrade?

    Are you trolling?

I love how you say it’s a minor update for getting OLED, cpu optimization, better fan, bigger battery and basically every problem from the previous steam deck solved

Like, for real dude, are you trolling?

When I heard the news I was so disappointed. I just got one for my birthday and I was in the return window. Then I saw they didn’t have OLED in the low price point but the 64 GB was now a 256 GB. Then I got home and told my GF that got me it to try and get a $50 credit, which she did, and continued enjoying my Steam Deck. Planned on upgrading the HD to a 1tb anyway. Enjoy what you have in a year or two the Steam Deck 2 will be sick and everyone with an OLED will want it anyway.
