    I said this when the Ford deal was announced and was downvoted to hell.

    Fain was playing with fire lobbing these ridiculous opening offers in public. Now he has to sell something far short of what he was demanding to his own members, who believed his hype. Also won’t help him that very few members missed a single shift because of his targeted striking. They are not hurting for money living off the strike fund so what incentive did they have to vote to end the strike?

    If you’re a Tier 1/FT employee, the raise doesn’t even cover inflation since the last contract but whatever floats their boat.

    According to the Detroit Free Press they are waiting for one more plant to finish voting, and, even if they vote no, it will pass.
