I like this a lot. Will be in the market in ~2 years, wonder if I’ll be able to get a dealer to do MSRP then

Perfect Outback killer. Ford was so dumb not to green light the Fusion Active. Jeep Wrangler had the whole market before Bronco. Maverick created the hybrid compact truck market. Why Ford didn’t go after Outback is beyond me. Bravo Toyota!

Subaru has a following though, plus this isn’t all time AWD like the Outback is. We also haven’t seen the next gen Outback which should be due in 2026. I’m betting that if this even ends up being an Outback killer, it’ll only do it for a year.

Not to mention that Toyota’s production and inability to order a car really turned me off when looking for a car this year.

Good point. While I love Toyota, the AWD system that Subaru has in its models is far superior than the hybrid AWD systems that Toyota uses.

Toyota is having its most profitable year ever. Only brand with hybrids available across the board. Much more stable supply chain than EV. Which was their argument about being hesitant to go all in on EV. Hard to get what you want in the dealer lot. Most test drive whatever non-hybrid model trim the dealer has in stock. Then order the hybrid in desired trim and wait a few months for delivery. They bet against EV and are reaping the rewards now…

Yes, same with the new Camry. I was hoping that design language stayed only Prius 🤷‍♂️

In related news, the Venza is dead after 2024. Long live the new name for the Venza?

Also, unlike the all hybrid venza, this one can officially tow 2700 lbs.

The Highlander is taller and slightly wider, but in terms of length and wheelbase it’s actually pretty close to the Crown Signia.

Sort of like how the 2nd gen Highlander and 1st gen Venza were very close in length, width, and wheelbase, but the Highlander was quite a bit taller and had 3 rows of seats.

Why can’t you just say “I really like the look of this vehicle”?

Telling people you are a tesla fan says nothing. In fact it makes me think less of your opinion on the looks of this car, because Teslas are not good looking cars…

Because I’ve said negative things about some Toyotas and people comment that doesn’t matter what I think because I like Teslas. Figured I would just be open about when making a positive comment.

But I see that didn’t work as you made a negative a Tesla comment🤷🏼‍♂️

Damn the venza did not live long at all. It made it all of like 4 years. I thought it was a good looking SUV
