The 2025 Toyota Camry launches only with hybrid power. Buyers can pick between front- or all-wheel drive configurations for the LE, SE, XLE, and XSE trims.
It’s… very Camry. (Going solely hybrid doesn’t help here.) And the lack of a GR version breaks my heart, especially with how much potential the TRD had. Hopefully, a more wild sports trim debuts in time for either Daytona Speedweeks or the NY Auto Show next year.
They’re probably going to put the Hybrid MAX power train in a performance model. That’s what the Crown gets on the top-end, and it puts out more power than the 2GR.
