Just won this 4Runner at cars and bids. I believe I got a nice deal in todays market

Gonna be about 17k total

    OP, this is a good deal.

    Most people are saying it’s a bad deal because they’re comparing your purchase price to pre COVID numbers.

    If I was going to spend 17k on a 12 year old ho runner with 170k miles… I would have just spent 30k on a 20newer with 60k miles.

    Not a bad price considering the market, plus if this car was primarily driven in Georgia (or the south in general) for most of its life, that’s a major bonus.

    I bought a Camry with 170k miles and it still ran perfect at 240k Id say you made a good purchase

    You didn’t get a good deal, especially for an auction car. You got the “buy from a dealer” deal.

    That being said, crazy how 17k for this car in today’s market is around what they’re listed for. Highly doubt many sell for that price though.

    Man people want 15k cad for an 07 tundra with 300 k kms where I am…. This seems alright in my market. Shits crazy here.

    The good news is that your 12 year old 4Runner won’t feel dated compared to a 2023. Kind of sad, but true.
