What are the must have EV apps you have on your phone and why?

    On a Tesla I would have said ABPR…but I find myself using it less and less as time goes on (the inbuilt nav is just as good). The Tesla app is sufficient for me - and that is a must have.

    I do have a bunch of charging apps but have never used any of them - so they are definitely not a ‘must have’.

    please stop recommending plugshare, it is now owned by evgo and is no longer a reliable third-party source of charger data. see threads about ea stations disappearing from there, for example.

    PlugShare. I also like ChargeWay, it is free, and a great little route planner. As for the rest, well, you still need all the various apps for the charging companies you’ll plan on using. The credit card readers around North America are unreliable, the RFID cards they give you don’t always work. Sometimes, your only option is to hope you can find WiFi and activate a charger through the app.
