Just switched my ISP so I had to move my modem and router downstairs. My pc’s are upstairs and I now have no option to hard wire since there is only one data port for our new isp and we don’t own the home so I’m not about to pay for a new port to be installed. Wanting some advice/options/opinions on using mesh networks for hardwiring pc’s in a 2200 sqft home. Really wanting to purchase something to get back on my pc but want to make the right choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Hoping to spend less than $250 if I can. Thanks!

    I have the same question.

As the other person noted, coax may be a solution. Explanation.

I’m also considering a mesh network, but it appears that it may be out of your preferred price range. All I’m finding requires at a minimum two pieces of equipment.
