I have a 5900x and I think, I don’t even need a 5x00x3d cpu! such a great generation of cpus.
It’s only worth considering if you need the performance. Same here with the 5900x, I bought it as an ‘end of the line’ CPU for my AM4 system. Until the CPU causes problem in games, it isn’t worth swapping out.
That said, if the price is cheap enough to consider, that’s the only caveat for me. So sub-$200 new, or under $150 used. May as well wait for the used market to come down a bit more.
