It’s so bad that the company will sue you if you try to sell it within the first year you own it.

    The reasoning is coming from a different place. Other brands are trying to discourage flippers, Tesla is trying to ensure their absolute boondoggle of a vehicle only gets into the hands of their most loyal superfans.

    I can find 10 in car reviews of any new hyped model from any other brand 2 weeks before they come out. This vehicle is supposed to be shipping at the end of this month and nobody who’s not a Tesla employee has actually driven it. The entire “shipping” is a dog and pony show where a handful of vehicles will get sold to loyal superfans who are told not to say anything bad about it (Which is already part of the Autopilot Beta agreement).

    They’re cosplaying like it’s some super duper high in demand vehicle using the trappings of other manufacturers, when in reality it’s just another shell game to pretend this vehicle isn’t a hot mess.
