I truly don’t understand how in 2023 with all the digitalization we have cars with backup cameras from at best a 2015 mid range smartphone. What’s preventing a manufacturer like bmw for an example from putting a high end sony sensor like the one on the iPhone 15 into their camera modules?
Eventually we all come to the conclusion that a Rolls Royce is the only true cost, quality car other than a toyota or honda. Pretty much the only car brands where you get what you pay for.
Everyone else is trick-fucking you with crafty design language that primarily hides cheap manufacturing. Go stare at a mercedes c class and tell me where $60k of value is hiding… the harder you stare at the interior, the cheaper it gets.
I don’t think you’ve ever seen a Rolls. They use a horrible camera, but also its interior finishes are far worse than the price tag would suggest. Worse than a 7 series/S class
