    Midfielder links give me hope. Zubimendi, Douglas Luiz, Ruben Neves… But frustrating we’re a window late to our needs.

      I don’t think we’re a window late to our needs. Obviously timing could be more perfect in hindsight, but overall we aren’t in a crisis or in an area that completely destroys our chaces. We only have 7 or so matches to the winter break and Declan rice still flying, with Jorginho in the double pivot proving a workable option for weaker teams.

      Overall our midfield has also been excellent, if anything our overall team still sorting out how to attack while maintaining our excellent defense is what’s slowing us down.

      I wonder if Arteta had plans for Timbre playing MF. Also I imagine Partey’s legs being made of string cheese has threw a spanner in the works for our midfield depth this season.
