I’m someone who’s had a steam account with many games but hasnt touched their steam account in 2+ years due to spending most of their time playing mobile gacha games. The new steam deck oled looks great and I want to get one and go back to playing my massive library of games. My question is will I run into any issues on release day? Is it possible valve might not let me buy it thinking I’m a bot/scalper or something since I haven’t used my account in a couple years?
Yes they will put a stop pay / ban on the purchase in most cases like this. Just go buy a 2-5 dollar game and play for 30mins to have some recent activity.
