Is it normal for somebody to have a beast of a desktop pc and also have a steam deck. Because although I have a really good pc I also really like to use my steam deck and am really interested in the steam deck community a little bit too much. Is this normal or nah?
They have different uses. There are so many lighter games that the deck offers a near identical fidelity experience on
You’re an insane person and need to be put in an asylum. You’re. SUCH. A. Weirdo.
Normal, as long as you can afford it.
It’s okay. With the Steam Deck you can chill and play games in bed or the couch, if sitting on the PC becomes too uncomfortable.
I had a crappy PC so I got a Steam Deck at the beginning of the year. I was recently able to get a fancy desktop rig that can run pretty much anything on Super-Ultra RTX-On Turbo Mode, but still find myself using my Steam Deck quite regularly. My Steam Deck is my goto most of the time as I just enjoy chilling on the couch or in bed with a game.
So yeah, I think both systems have their uses and its not weird to still use the Deck despite having a beefy desktop rig. I also love being able to take my games with me on the go. A visit to the DMV isn’t so terrifying anymore.
Yes, I tried taking my beast of a PC on the bus, on a plane, on a train and justto the park. The Steamdeck is much easier.
Normal. They serve two completely different purposes for me. PC for when I’m running high end games that I really want to submerge myself into or Simulators where I need additional equipment. Deck is for playing those smaller games or emulation when I’m sitting on the sofa ignoring the mrs and whatever crap is on the telly.
Is it strange for me to shit in a portapotty and also shit in a high end fully encrusted gold toilet?
