Hi there what should I do? my problem is:

I got the new Iphone 15 pro max since few days…the phone is awesome …however I don’t like the weight…It kind of feels heavy like a brick and can’t hold it for long time for phone call or one handed watching YouTube …I know it may sound weird…however the 15 plus feels so much lighter even it’s only 20g…but I can hold it for long periods in my one hand without problem watching YouTube …I tried it at the Apple Store…Iam in a dilemma.

my question are here any ppl who had similar experience… is there anything I can do to get used to the pro max…I would like to give it some time …but I don’t know if it makes sense…I personally like the 15 plus more…just more comfortable to use. however if the pro max would feel the same I would keep it due to better specs…so that’s my dilemma. money is non issue its only 200 bucks.

I know what Iam missing out on and on the differences spec wise…but 3rd camera and 120 hz is not a dealbreaker for me and I would save 200 bucks…

My questions are :

  1. Any recommendations how to get used to the pro max…? maybe some ppl felt similarly initially ?

  2. do you guys think the pro max will get longer software updates ? and would run smoother years down the line I tend to keep my Iphones very long time 6 years easily. do you think the pro max due the SOC and Ram is better for longevity?

What would you do? any help is highly appreciated!!

Thanks!!

that’s true…but still is not comfortable enough for me on phone calls longer than 15 mins or watching YouTube one handed I have to change hands in between…I know its sound funny…therefore looking for tips how to get used to it. Iam coming from an iPhone SE…never had a big phone before. but thanks for weighing in.

If you don’t care about the telephoto and 120hz the Plus is a great iPhone. For your longevity question, it’s not really clear yet if the non-pros will get less software support, but the worst case scenario is it will get 1 year less than the Pro, that’s it.

My advice is to keep the Pro Max if you don’t mind the price. It’s just better and nicer. It’s really not that heavy (especially when compared to 12/13/14 Pro Max).

Get the phone that’s better for you. Not just better on paper. None of the benefits or advantages matter if it’s not comfortable to you.

I dunno, I got the iPhone Pro 13 and it’s the heaviest phone I’ve ever owned. I still dislike the weight after a little over a year now. But you get bothered by it less over time. It’ll be nice if they get lighter eventually.

Put a heavy ass MagSafe wallet on the back and train your baby wrists, girly man.
