I don’t know a ton about foreign motors other than surface level stuff like the 2JZ, Wankel, etc. so please forgive my ignorance outside of US motors.
However, in my eyes, it doesn’t get better than the simplicity and easily available power of the SBC, BBC, and 6BT. What are your all time favorites and why?
Late 60s early 70s Chrysler 426 Hemi. It was a game changer and an original engine alone can triple the price of the vehicle, if not more.
Surprised to read so far before I saw any mopar of this vintage. Nascar literally kept changing the rules because chevy and ford couldn’t keep up. The 318, 340 and 440’s were all awesome as well. My dad raced with them all as well as the Hemi. Pure domination.
