    Is it midlife crisis when you can finally afford to own the car? I’m not in my 50s but only in my 30s was when I was finally in a state where I could own a Corvette. I would’ve liked to own one back in high-school but had to settle for a decade old v6 Camaro.

    The trope of midlife crisis is stupid.

    Every man that drives a car that people say is the midlife crisis wanted car his entire life and finally admit life he can afford it. It’s just a car it doesn’t matter

    A midlife crisis is just made up by women and wives who are upset that men are spending time and money on something that’s not them

    I don’t like the Corvette stereotype. I have had a C7 for about 7 years. I love it because it’s fast and can handle like crazy. Cool car. I didn’t buy it to impress women. My wife loves it too. I could have bought a Corvette in the past, but something else caught my eye at that time. I had a deal worked out in 2007 for a C6 but at the last second I bought a Gen1 CTS-V. I loved that car. The main point is some people buy cars to have fun, not to impress.
