Looking for Advice
Hello everyone. Just wanted to get some opinions, as I’m really torn on a decision. I got a steam deck early October, and was surprised by the OLED announcement. I’m 10 days outside the return window and steam support said they couldn’t do anything.
My question is, would it be worth it to try and sell my current steam deck to buy the OLED? I would be loosing some money but if it’s worth it I’m not sure. Some things to consider: net loss, OLED availability, ability to sell current unit, etc. What would you do in this situation? Thanks for the advice.

Forget about the fact that you bought the OG Deck at a bad time, there is nothing you can do about it. Check out the sunk cost fallacy.
Now you know what the benefits of the OLED are, you know how much it’s going to cost you, whether it’s worth it or not really depends how much you want the improvements, how big of a hit that cost would be on your finances…
I know what I would do but it doesn’t mean you should do the same thing as me.
