I have already gone in and edited my views to remove all of the other ones, however there is a default view/screen with elapsed time, bpm, average mph, and elevation (info I already get from my bike computer) that it constantly switches to. On a ~40 mile ride this weekend had to flip back to the HR zone screen at least 25 times. It’s driving me insane and it’s not safe to constantly have to take a hand of the handlebar to fiddle with the watch. Literally HR zone is the one metric I want from my watch on bike rides. I can’t seem to find info on making it stop anywhere so I was wondering if anyone on this sub had a possible solution to this. Model 7 btw.

That’s strange - whenever I use the crown to change to a different page on my workouts, it stays on that page until I spin the crown (or swipe down). I have to say that I don’t do outdoor cycling workouts, so perhaps cycling is different for some reason, but it always stay where I put it when I do running or walking workouts.

But if you press the edit icon top-right in “Outdoor Cycle Workout”, scroll down to and tap “Preferences”, tap “Outdoor Cycle Workout Views” at the top, scroll down to the bottom and tap “Reorder” and put the HR Zone page at the top, does that fox it?

I have already made HR the top one and it doesn’t give you the option to exclude the “metrics” view that it keeps switching to on me. The odd thing that I mentioned above is that it does not do this on indoor cycling. It starts in HR zone and it stays the whole ride. I always swipe back to zones when riding so maybe I’ll have better luck with the crown though that’s a little more risky to do while rolling. Might just end up having to buy a chest strap but I was hoping to avoid that and the main reason I got a watch to begin with was for the workout metrics.
