I don’t understand how people’s cases are ending up like this, I’ve had mine (same color) since day 1 and it still looks brand new and I’ve been using it like any other case I’ve owned. I’d say try cleaning with a small amount of detergent and water and if that doesn’t work have Apple exchange it out.
I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and it looks similar. Same with wallet. It does clean out, fwiw. Add some water and you can scrape a ton of dirt out, but it just gets dirty again really fast.
Idk if I’d call this case fragile as no amount of scraping seems to damage it, but it does absorbs dirt and oils like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’d almost be okay if it did it evenly, but the edges get so much grosser than the rest.
